Mike had a work meeting in New Jersey, so I met him in New York to make a trip out of it. We had so much fun touring the city together. We stayed in Manhattan at Mike's Uncles apartment. From our bedroom window you can see part of Central Park. It was beautiful! Mike's Grandparents live in the city and wined and dined us the first two nights. We had "drinks" (soda) with them on top of a fancy hotel called the Peninsula. It was outside on the roof overlooking whole city! WOW! Then we traveled over to a French Restaurant called La Bonne Soup for dinner. Friday we toured the city on the double decker buses. We toured Rockerfeller Center, Time Square, Empire State building and toured all major spots and buildings downtown. It was really cold on Friday so we drank lots of hot chocolate. I really enjoyed the top of the rock. We were over 70 stories high and got a great view of New York. On Friday night, we were taken out to a delicious Italian Restaurant called Parmola. On Saturday, we went to the upper west side and had breakfast above the Fairway grocery store's cafe. We then spent the rest of the day walking through Central Park and shopping down 5th Avenue. Saturday night it was raining hard so, Mike's Uncle took us to a great pizza place called Angelo's Coal Oven Pizza. The pizza was sooo yummy.. The resto of our trip we went to SoHo to shop and I found a steal on a great bag! We also went and toured the Museum of Natural History. The Dinosaur exhibit was my favorite part of Museum. To top off the end of our trip Mike's Uncle took us out to dinner and the next morning we headed back to AZ.
