Happy Easter

Easter is my favorite time of year. I love spring in Arizona. The weather is perfect to be outside and everything beautiful is in bloom. This year for Easter we celebrated the week with decorating sugar cookies, dying eggs, egg hunts, church, food, baskets, and family!

Christmas has come and gone

Christmas is truly my favorite time of year. What a great time it is to celebrate Christ's birth and remember the true meaning of Christmas. On Christmas Eve, my parents came over for dinner. We had a delicious dinner and dessert followed by Christmas songs and poems. That night we had a lot to do to get ready for Santa. Mike and I stayed up until 1 a.m. Christmas morning Bentley came right into our room announcing that Santa had come into his room and Parker's room too. He told us that the reindeer ate their carrots and Santa ate his cookies and had left his footprints all over the house. Bentley was thrilled to excitement when he saw his Castle from Santa. Parker loved his new "upright dirt devil vacuum"too and immediately got to cleaning the floors. After the kids were done opening their presents, we had blueberry pancakes and headed out the door to my parent's church. The rest of the day we spent with Mike's family. The kids got a little drum set with a guitar and microphone from GG. The boys had a jam session at Noni's house! I will always remember the pure joy in my children's faces this Christmas. I am truly grateful for my beautiful family and my Savior Jesus Christ. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas!
