Birthday Party!

Saturday, we had a car party at the Park. Some of Bentley's friends came, along with lots of family. We had yummy food and cupcakes for the birthday boy. The kids had a blast racing to the finish line with the race cars I made out of cardboard boxes. They also had fun with the water balloon toss. It was a windy day, but at least it was not 100 degree weather. It was a perfect day for the party!

I cannot believe that my baby boy is 2. He has grown-up so fast! I feel like he should still be that baby that is just learning to walk. Now, Bentley is the king of cars, talking up a storm and is full of giggles and smiles. We just adore him and wish him a Happy 2nd Birthday!

Easter

We had a lot of fun this Easter weekend! We decorated easter eggs and spent a lot of time outside. We went to church with my parents and had yummy brunch with my family. The cousins had fun in the easter egg hunt and decorating their easter bunny crafts. For dinner, we went to Joyce's house for a yummy dinner and dessert. I did not have my camera at my moms, so all I have are these pictures we took at home decorating easter eggs and before church.

Cheap Entertainment....

Today, I had some of my friends come over to have a play-date with Bentley. It was such a nice day out we decided to play in the backyard and eat lunch while the kids played. The kids had so much fun with the toys, the sandbox, and the hose. They had a blast with the water as you can tell from the pictures (a little cold, but worth it).

TuTu

Yesterday, I was home all afternoon and decided to make this Tutu for my niece. It was really easy and super fun to make. I even used my model to test it, but daddy wouldn't let me post the picture of him wearing it!

Bentley is my little bugaboo! All I can say is that I am very blessed to have this little toddler as my son. He has been so much fun lately. He is talking a lot more and he loves to tell me these long elaborate stories. Of course, I have no idea what he is telling me, so I just listen and tell him I completely agree! Every morning he is usually happy and I wake up to, "Momma? Momma? Moooommmmmmaa?" He takes me by my index finger and leads me to the kitchen to tell me he wants his milk and then we jump in my bed and read books. This has been his little morning ritual. Bentley is always grinning ear to ear and it melts my heart each day. I took this picture of him the other day in the car while he was playing with my sunglasses. This is the smiley and precious Bentley I love!
